You know the price before I start

No hourly meter running while I work. Repairs are flat-rate, so being fast and good never costs you more.

  1. Flat rate, not hourly

    Every job has a set price. You're paying for the fix, not the clock — skill and speed are on me, not your bill.

  2. Diagnose first, approve second

    I find the real problem and quote you one price. Nothing beyond the diagnostic happens until you say go.

  3. Diagnostic credited

    If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee comes off the total — so a real fix effectively covers it.

Questions people ask before they call

Straight answers to the usual worries. Don't see yours? Call, text, or send me a message and just ask.

Will you go through my files?
No. I only open what the repair needs, and your personal files stay private. If I back up your data for a job, that copy is only used to put your files back, and I delete it once you have everything. Devices you have me recycle are wiped first so nothing can be recovered.
Will I lose my pictures and files?
Most repairs don't touch your files at all. If a repair could affect them, like reinstalling Windows, I'll tell you before I start. My backup and clean reinstall service saves your files first and puts them back after.
What if it can't be fixed?
I'll tell you straight, before any repair work happens. If it can't be fixed, or a fix isn't worth your money, you only pay the diagnostic fee for the time it took to find the problem. Nothing else gets charged without your okay.
Do I pay anything up front? How can I pay?
You pay when the repair is done and working. I take cash, card, Venmo, and Cash App. The only exception is special-order parts, which may need a deposit since they can't be returned once ordered. I'll always tell you before ordering anything.
How long will it take?
It depends on the job. A full backup and clean reinstall usually takes 2–3 days. If a part has to be ordered, I'll tell you how long it will take before you approve anything.
I'm locked out of my computer. Can you help?
Yes, in most cases. Local Windows passwords can usually be cleared right in the shop. Microsoft account lockouts take a little more work and have some limitations, but there are options for getting you back in. Bring it by or give me a call and I'll walk you through what will work for your computer.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. Repairs come with a 30-day workmanship warranty. If the same problem comes back within 30 days, let me know and I'll make it right.
Can you come to me?
Yes. I do in-home visits around Grayson and the nearby towns, and remote sessions when the problem is software. In-home visits have a callout fee that covers travel and the first look. I'll tell you the amount when we set it up.
What should I bring?
The device, its charger, and your password or PIN if you're comfortable sharing it (or be ready to type it in). A quick note about what's wrong and when it started helps too. Call or text first so we can set a drop-off time.
